Jijak Campground Policies and Procedures, Sweet Grass Moon Powwow

RV reservations are issued on a first come, first served basis.

Walk-ins are welcome and any non-reserved RV sites and all rustic tent campsites are issued on a first come first served basis starting at 1PM on July 8th.

RV and rustic tent sites are provided free of charge.

We reserve the right to change a lot as needed.

Just to be very clear: tent sites are RUSTIC!

Check-in: Friday 1PM until 6PM, Saturday 9AM until 1PM.

No grey water on top of the ground. Pails must be kept under sink drains and properly disposed of.

No washing of vehicles on lots.

Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Campfires are allowed only in burning rings. Please extinguish all fires before retiring. Do not move fire rings. Do not place or burn garbage in the fire rings or stoves.

No motorcycles or recreational vehicle pleasure riding in the campground.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Rowdy behavior or other disorderly, ill-mannered conduct will not be tolerated at any time.

Each RV site must include one camper and may also include one tent.

One car per site. All additional vehicles must be parked in designated areas.

Tribe reserve the right to limit the number of campers per site.

All garbage to be placed into securely tied garbage bags and placed into dumpsters. Do not burn or bury refuse, rubbish, trash or garbage, regardless of its origin.

Please properly dispose of any old or unwanted grills, lawn chairs, equipment or other items.

Do not set fire to the contents of any trash containers.

We understand that your pet is part of your family, but please keep pets on a leash at all times.

Pets are not to be tied outside unattended. Please do not leash pets to trees.
No barking dogs.
Please clean up your pets excretions.

Pets are not allowed within a water or land area designated as a bathing beach or in any water area used for swimming or wading.

No bathing in the lake.

There is no lifeguard on duty at the lake. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Lake is open from dawn until dusk. No glass containers allowed.

Do not obstruct any road or trail in a manner that hinders public access to the lands.

Speed limit is 10 mph. Please observe the speed limit as we have many small children at the campground.

It is prohibited to carry or have in his or her possession a firearm, unless unloaded in both barrel and magazine; to shoot an air gun, gas gun, spring loaded gun, or slingshot; or to shoot with a bow and arrow or crossbow. This rule does not apply to a target range or archery range officially established by the Tribe.
